1.what is the hole tolerance for epoxy anchors?
Answer:up to 1/2" dia bolt -1/8 tolerance ,if we are using more than 1/2 " dia bolt then we need to use hole tolerance as 3/16.
2.what are the OSHA standards for a column?
1.In perimeter columns we need to provide safety cable holes for safety purpose.
2.column splice should be 4'-0 from finished floor.
3In splice columns we need to provide a lifting hole for lifting purpose.
3.In design drawings if we dnt have connections then what to do?
For shear connections ,we need to refer Aisc table based on the end reaction loads and based on the type of beam whether composite or non composite ,We have charts in Aisc manual.
From AISC tables we need to design the connections and need to cloud in approval.
Other than shear connections,we need ask client for connections.
